Developer Portal Blueprint

  1. You can optionally create an account to log in and save your previous requests.
  2. Search: Quickly search the portal for APIs or documentation.
  3. Knowledge Center: This is where you will find getting start information, like these posts. In the future, I will add additional content on integrating with 3rd party applications. I am looking for content contributors and more ideas to help build the developer community.
  4. Govee’s APIs: This is where you will find Govee’s Developer APIs and their documentation.
  5. Coding Language: Ignore this for most folks… if you are a developer or write scripts, then choose your programming language. The portal will automatically generate sample code which can be copied and used in your applications and services.
  6. API Key: This is where you paste in your API Key.
  7. Try It: Click this button to make the API calls.
  8. Copy sample code.
  9. This is where the responses will be displayed. If you want to see a sample request, you can choose one of the samples.
